Cannot get new solid state hard drive to work

Just installed a solid state hard drive there appears to be no bios installed on it and the screen just says the following: PXE-M61: MEDIA TEST FAILURE
PXE-M0F: EXISTING INTEL BOOT AGENT.

INSERT SYSTEM SYSTEM DISK IN DRIVE. BUT MY LAPTOP HAS NO DIS

We need information on what the system is, who makes it, and what the specs are.

The BIOS is not stored on the drive, it is stored on the actual motherboard itself.

When you installed the new drive, did you install an operating system on it?
