Solved Can I switch my storage SSD for laptop to new Computer?

I am building a video editing rig. I would like to take the 2 terabyte SSD out of my laptop and put it into my new rig. I only used that SSD for storage not the operating system can I just switch it without formatting it. Or will the fact that it already had a drive letter assigned to it mess things up.
 
Yes, given what you said that the drive has no o/s on it you should be able to put the drive into your other PC. Drive letters can always be changed but it should not be an issue
