Hi guys, im trying to build a new gaming pc for me… i have never built a pc before so i would appreciate every advise, tips or critism of my setup..
So here im posting the setup ive chosen for now (still working on it, but almost done)
-budget 30 000czk (1400usd, 1200eur) im from Czech Republic

**CPU** - AMD Ryzen 5 3600
**GPU** - i hesitate between EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra Gaming and
MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming
**MB** - MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
**RAM** - i hesitate between Corsair 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Vengeance RGB PRO and
Adata XPG Spectrix D60G 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz (ptobably adata)
**HDD** - Seagate BarraCuda 2TB, 3,5'' SATA III
**SSD** - Kingston SSD A2000 500GB M.2 (PCIe 3.0 4x NVMe) TLC
**PSU** - Corsair RM550x (or 650x) (2018)
**CASE** - CoolerMaster Masterbox TD500 Mesh Black

… so feel free to comment every piece of this setup, give me some respond please.

Welcome to PCHF andrewson9,

You have done pretty good choosing your parts but there are a couple of things that I would do differently.

Don`t leave yourself with only an add on video card for graphics, choose a set up that has onboard graphics as an option, this is your get out of jail card should you ever have problems with the add on GPU, it also allows you to get the system up & running prior to fitting the add on card & installing the drivers for it.

GPUs are too close to call performance wise so whatever is the cheapest, unless like me you prefer EVGA.

RAM, I don`t do flashing LEDs or RGB lighting so whatever has the lowest CAS latency for the best price.

Seagate HDDs are not as reliable as they once were, pay a bit more and go for a WD Black drive.

Other parts look ok, good to see that you have chosen a quality PSU to protect your hardware just be sure to go for the RM650x as the 550W is not enough for your choice of GPU.

Alright alright, thanks for reviewing 🙂
As im new in this "profesion" i dont understand maany things yet.. e.g the first thing u were writing about.. i mean the video card... i really havent got a single clue what are you talking about 😀 sorry
i think i will go for the MSI gpu, bcs it supports mystic lights and its from MSI like my MB (i know it doesnt matter, but i like MSI as a brand)
Same i has no idea about CAS latency so i dont know which is better 😀 i will go for the pretier ADATA 😀
.. and okay ill look for wb black hdd

The CPU that you selected does not have integrated graphics but the example here does, better to have integrated graphics as a back up as opposed to having an extra two CPU cores that you won`t use for gaming any time soon.

You are welcome btw 🙂
