Hello Leon1980,

Did you assemble this computer yourself or was it pre built and covered by a warranty.

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Hello Leon1980,

Thanks for the requested info (y)

All of your crashes mention the same two things, the CPU and the game Bannerlord.

First thing that I noticed in Speccy was that you only have the one stick of RAM, this means that it is only working at 1333MHz and not the 2666MHz that it could work at if you had two sticks of matching RAM.

Can I ask what slot on the MB you have the RAM in, to make it easier call the slot nearest to the CPU slot one.

See the attached screenshot which flags up the CPU.

We need to wait on your next update for now.

Hello, Phillpower2,
Thank you again for helping,

The Ram is installed in the third slot. I guess I should get another stick of ram and install in the slots 1 and 3?

As for the banner Lord it is the game I've been playing most the last week however the BSOD has occured with another game, the minidumps only went as far back as the most recent five crashes.

Hello Leon1980,

The following checks require the computer case to be opened so take the following safety precautions 1st, disconnect the power cord from the wall socket, press the case power button for twenty seconds or so to get rid of any residual charge in the system, take anti static precautions before touching anything inside, you can do this by touching a bare metal part of the case or PSU or if a notebook by touching a household radiator or associated copper feed pipe.

While you only have the one stick of RAM. remove it from the slot that it is presently in and insert it into the A2 slot which is the slot furthest away from the CPU, reassemble, test by using the computer as you normally would, post back with an update when you are ready.

You are welcome btw :)

Hello phillpower2,

After following your instructions and testing for a few days, the issue seems to have been resolved thus far.

Thank you for your time and expertise, I appriecate your help immensely!

Hello Leon1980,

Thank you for your update which I am pleased to say suggests you have resolved the issue, well done (y)

Some info for your future reference, when you are able to purchase your second stick of RAM, if you are able to, get a matching stick of the RAM that you have now, if not possible, make sure that any other RAM has the exact same specs else you may get instability.

The new stick of RAM needs to be inserted into DIMM slot B2 which is the second slot away from the CPU.

Final nag from me, be sure to create a new system restore point for the now stable settings.

You are welcome Leon :)

Hello phillpower2,

Its just my luck that as I post to say it is solved, it crashes again, this time on the desktop watching youtube.
After 1-2 crashes a day I assumed it was solved after a week with no problems.

FileCoAuth.exe was shown as running in WinDBG, is this a problem?

Once again asking for your help, I apologize :(

Hello Leon1980,

The crash dmp points towards the CPU memory bank again.

What was the video you were watching on youtube, if it was graphic intensive you may have run out of RAM.

Two suggestions, disable Onedive in its settings so that it does not sync as soon as you sign into Windows and get yourself the matching stick of RAM asap, having only the one stick is bottlenecking the CPU something awful.

See how things go with Onedrive disabled then get back to us.

Hello phillpower2, Thanks for your reply again, All seems well. Have since added an extra identical stick of RAM and disabled OneDrive.
I am confident the issue is resolved, I appreciate your help.
