So, past couple of weeks roughly 3 weeks I kept getting a BSOD error at first it would just freeze for 1 sec and black out my screen then restart the PC all together.

Now the actual BSOD appears and gets to 100% complete and sits there until I shut it down manually via power button. This has happened roughly 10-15 times past 3 weeks, and only occurs when I am playing a video game and streaming using OBS. My PC is very high quality and have had it for 3 yrs no issues until just now. I have stress tested my GPU, have tested my CPU and also tested my RAM with all 3 parts coming back with no errors at all.

Here are my Cinebench, Furmark, WhoCrashed, Memtest both passed RAM results, as well as the problem details which every single crash brings me back the EXACT same results via the problem details from "VIEW ALL PROBLEM REPORTS"

Also just a heads up I have 100% figured out my games have nothing to do with the crash as last week one of the crashes occured with just OBS open and not even running, I was preparing to stream and it just froze the PC, however that doesn't mean it is OBS but it could be idk as it happens to be the only program I have open everytime the PC crashes. So I do believe it has somethign to do when I am streaming with OBS as that is when my PC goes through most of its workload is when I am streaming and gaming. During the day I can use my PC for 8hrs straight social media, watching shows, etc and no issues at all. Lastly, I have tried reinstalling OBS and same issue occurs.

3 years of flawless performance, then 3 weeks ago, multiple crashes.
so what was changed 3 weeks ago - new software, new hardware, drive updates, Windows updates?

does it also happen when logged in on another user account?
what about in Safe Mode?

let's get your PC specs...
download Speccy from here; https://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds
in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
paste that link into a post.
One area Speccy doesn’t show is the Power Supply Unit, so also include the make/model of the PSU.

while we wait for that, have you tried these from an elevated command prompt;
  • chkdsk /f
  • sfc /scannow
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase

1) Nothing has changed except around 2 months ago I upgraded to Win11. (I am always on top of making sure drivers are up to date and PC is clean.)

2) Only 1 account on this PC

3) Never tried safe mode, I do a lot fo work on my PC so I am on it for roughly 8-10 hrs a day with no problems onlytime I get a crash is at night when I am streaming.

4) Speccs http://speccy.piriform.com/results/YFzNBagbytO8xqCLIZb10UU

5) Have tried all of them last week no issues found, will try again right now see if I can get anything. Wil post back in a couple minutes.

We can see a couple of issues of note in Speccy but before elaborating can you upload any crash dmps using only the method below;

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

I have no DMP files, they get deleted when I shut down my PC

That should not be happening and is most likely being caused by not enough storage space being allocated to them.

See info here for how to set up small memory dmps, do this first.

Razer drivers were the cause of the DV forced crash and small wonder when you have so many keyboard and mice drivers installed.

Disable DV.

Create a new system restore point.

Uninstall all Razer drivers.

Uninstall any other keyboard and mouse drivers for devices that are no longer used.

Restart the computer and install just the drivers for the keyboard and mouse that you actually use and see how that goes.

Dont know what DV is, however I have yesterday just reinstalled all 3 razer based programs, Synapse, Cortex and Streamer Software.

As for my devices I also reinstalled my Mouse, Keyboard and Headset. Didn't reinstall my Speaker, Microphone and Accessory.

As for why I have so many mouse and keyboard drivers I am not sure, 3 Mouse Hids and 7 Keyboard Hids and I didnt remove them as I dont know what they are.

Whelp I am back a couple days later had 3 good nights of no crashes was just streaming with OBS and paying World of Warcraft PC just BSOD'd here is my info.

Here is also the error BSOD image and Error image from PC reports.

I have a strange feeling OBS might be the issue however I have reinstalled it already. Anyway to find out if it is OBS exactly? I left my PC on overnight with nothing running and it didn't crash then I did the same with just OBS and I believe it crashed since I went to turn on the monitor and it said no signal since I couldn't get a signal I decided to manually har shut down and bring it back and it is now working again so I assume it crashed overnight.

Nothing to do with OBS and the two latest BSOD are totally unrelated to the previous issues that you were having either, both were caused by afd.sys, what this is and how it normally gets taken care of here

You installed Windows 11 on 3/12/2022 but the only two device drivers you appear to have installed are for Intel Bluetooth and your Razer devices, surprised that you haven't had a whole lot more issues.

Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

So you are saying the only fix at this moment would be a reinstall? Basically putting it back to as I first got it? Then reinstalling everything to get it back up to date?

Also afd.sys was probably the issue all along then? If so what exactly is it and is there a way to fix it without re doing my PC as that gonna take like a week to sort it out and if I did I would probably just go back to Win 10 due to Win 11 causing so many problems even though I like WIn 11 better.

No.

Also afd.sys was probably the issue all along then?

No and this proven by your previous Razer drivers causing the system to crash but after getting rid of those drivers and then clean installing them you have resolved that issue.

Post a new Speccy url for us.
