Judging by your last two crash dmps it looks like memory corruption at the moment.

We are best to wait and see if anything changes once you have fully updated Windows, can we have an updated Speccy url once this has been done.

Yes, get rid of it, like the High Performance setting it will just cause you problems, both may be ok on gaming rigs that have high end components but not on a computer that is best suited to office type work.

Hi, the update is finished. Here is the new speccy link: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/wGo6SNheDCDfwSLj7Zk7C4N

The Razer software is still present on the computer and you are getting low on free storage space on the HDD, 115GB is far too small for Windows and you really should have a C: partition of between 180GB minimum but ideally 250GB, see explanation below.

Partition 0
Partition ID: Disk #0, Partition #0
Disk Letter: C:
File System: NTFS
Volume Serial Number: FE17B851
Size: 115 GB
Used Space: 95 GB (83%)
Free Space: 19.5 GB (17%)

For Windows to be able to run efficiently and to be able to update you need to have between 20 and 25% of the partition or drive available as free storage space at all times, if you don`t you risk Windows becoming corrupt or not being able to update which puts you at risk of malware attack.

Data only storage devices should not be allowed to get any lower than 10% of free storage space of the full capacity of the drive/partition on the drive.

Hi, I have uninstalled razer now, i uninstalled after checking the fps was same with or without it. Is there a way I can add on to the space of c drive from my d drive? there are many old unnecessary files in my d drive which I can erase.

We can help with the space on the C: drive but can you please stop expecting your computer to all of a sudden becoming a gaming monster, i3 CPUs are just not up to it I`m afraid :(

Yes, I have already stopped doing that. I am actually looking for a new laptop i5 with a bit better gpu for my brother (so I can also game on it sometimes) posted the thread a couple days ago https://pchelpforum.net/t/budget-gaming-laptop.34901 but I guess it is difficult to find one in that budget.

please tell me how should I partition and solve the problem of space on C drive.

As a starting point you need to back up your data from the HDD to something like an external USB HDD, you are also getting low on free storage space on the D: partition so without backing up what you need from this partition and then deleting what is on the D: partition you will not be able to extend the C: partition.

Regarding the LoL flickering, going off topic so I can`t say too much but what I will say is that I`m not sure how you have been able to play it as the minimum speed CPU required is 3GHz and preferably a dual core version.

I will try to do this as soon as possible. Will have to bring in a friend's external hdd, so a bit of time probably.

I get 60 fps on average. and goes to 90-120 fps. The game runs pretty well, so I had thought it had low requirements.

Thanks for letting us know, we will leave your thread marked as pending for now.

Hi, I have currently freed 100 gb+ in my D drive, can I partition that 100 gb to my c drive? I was looking for external hdd, but since I am already looking for a laptop for my brother, I will transfer my files once he buys it (probably next 2-3 days).

Still not enough free space to allow for what needs to be achieved so I recommend the following;

Let us know if you have had any more BSOD.

Wait until you have the means to create a back up image of your HDD.

I have not had any BSOD after following your steps.
Ok, I will wait till there is the new laptop to backup the files.

Thanks for the update (y)

As your initial computer problem/s are now resolved and partitioning the HDD is going off topic can I ask that when you are ready that you start a new thread on the appropriate Windows forum and one of us will help you there, thank you and meanwhile safe computing.
