BSOD Critical Process Died and other stuff

I am trying to fix my son's PC without success.

His computer setup is as follows:
CyberPower PC,
3.80Ghz AMD FX -4300 QuadCore
8Gb RAM
64 bit Windows 10 OS

The main issue is the BSOD with the error Critical Process Died, however it is also running slow and there are parts of the system which are not responding at all. I have tried running SFC /scannow, DISM and chkdsk /r in normal mode and safe mode, but they fail in both, mostly at the same points but sometimes different.

I have tried to set up an alternative user profile, but it will not allow me to do that, when I click on the link it just goes nowhere. Search Windows will not work, and the start page menu only shows the user icon and power options.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received. Many thanks.

Hello Parselmouth,

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the More Reply Options tab, Choose File then the Attach This File tab., bottom left of the dialogue input box.

If you are unable to grab the minidump files normally, then please follow the instructions below so that @phillpower2 and @jmarket can assist you further. :)

1.Place the dumps back into the C:\Windows\MiniDump
2. Download the https://www.sysnative.com/blogs/download/sysnativebsodcollectionapp-exe - save to Documents folder -
3. Run the app - Double-click on the downloaded EXE file

Output = new folder created in Documents + a zipped version -- SysnativeFileCollectionApp + SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
4. Attach the .zip file here in your next reply.
