so Steve, how did it all go with the dust removal, and cleaning the old crap out via CCleaner or Glary Disk Cleaner?

as to the mouse, have you tried another one to rule out your mouse being faulty?
also with the browser, have you tried another one?

so your browser is OK, and it's the mouse that is causing the grief?

do you want this thread moved to the "Am I Infected" forum so our resident malware expert can go through with you some steps to verify your PC is clean?

  • Accept the EULA (I accept), then click on Scan Now
  • Let the scan complete
  • Once the scan completes, make sure that every item listed in the different tabs is checked and click on the Quarantine and delete.
  • Once the cleaning process is complete, AdwCleaner will ask you to restart your computer

  • Click on Security tab and make sure that all four Scan options are enabled.
  • Close Settings and click on the Scan button on the dashboard.
  • Once the scan is completed make sure you have it quarantine any detections it finds.
  • If no detections were found click on the Save results drop-down, then the Export to TXT button and save the file as a Text file to your desktop.
  • If there were detections then once the quarantine has completed click on the View report button, then click the Export drop-down, then the Export to TXT button, and save the file as a Text file to your desktop or other location you can find and attach that log on your next reply.
  • If the computer restarted to quarantine you can access the logs from the Detection History, then the History tab. Highlight the most recent scan and double-click to open it. Then click the Export drop-down, then the Export to TXT button, and save the file as a Text file to your desktop or other location you can find and include that log on your next reply.

i have 'Glary and spybot , which i have run , really though i run 'spybot every am before i get on internet so do i need more cleaners ? eh .. steve

I’d actually suggest that both of those be removed. Those “tools” are basically useless. Not what they once were.

If you could. Please run these for me. We will go from there. Based on what is found, we may or may not dig a bit deeper. 👍

These two tools target specific items which usually cause the issues you are describing.

ran all programs you suggested and 1 problem in detection's was there .. turned 'off p/c and restarted .. back on internet and problem with 'mouse still happening .. you can move 'mouse and watch it disappear then pop back up where ever it wants and if you move it quickly it drops whatever your moving , wait 1/2 second and it will reappear , also somke of your directions i don'[t understand .. age thing i think .. thanks , steve

well , iv been using p/c for a little while now (couple hours) , and mouse problem has 'worsened = can't even move it at times or its 'missing and have to wait up to 15-25 seconds at times .. wow what a mess .. steve

well now , my wife says turn it off and let it 'repair itself she says , well i did just that and while i was away over nite this computer keep going all nite .. 'malwarebytes did its thing on 1 (one) 'detection in which it found .. it notified me this AM when i turned it on that it had repaired the problem .. iv been on and off fore a few hours and soooo far its a hit now all i have to do is figure out how to get it to you .. OK .. thanks , steve
