I have a mini PC as below..

NiPoGi GK3 Pro

I have a USB stick with a bootable installation of Linux on it

I wish to change the boot order ( I believe in the BIOS ) so that instead of booting from the internal SSD it boots from the USB stick attached to one of the USB ports.

I cannot see how I change the boot order

please help

Can you take a picture of what options you have when you attempt to change it? Try plugging the USB into a different port and ensuring that it is plugged in and recognized.

Look under Main and Advance is usually where is has been found may be located elsewhere on this system.

Look for something like
F12 Boot Menu

Make sure that is set to Enabled.

Have seen some that are different keystrokes to access the boot menu most are the F12.

Still not giving me the option to boot from another storage medium

Enclosed some more screens from the BIOS.....any ideas please

It could be that secure boot is stopping you access to boot from usb or your machine does not have the option to boot from usb.
Option 1) Turn off secure boot and see if this then gives an option to boot from usb
****NB if you turn off secure boot you will have to repair the current windows boot. You will loose access to windows***
Option 2) use a boot manager like plop.

Is there anything that states Legacy BIOS (might be boot).
enable if found.

Other things to attempt is a BIOS reset to factory

Have you checked to see if there is a BIOS update?

Make sure to look under the other sections beside Boot.

Can't see legacy boot anywhere

How do I check for a BIOS update...this one is dated 28/10/2022
