I have windows 8.1pro. I broke my HDD so my computer would not start without it. I bought a new SSD as a replacement but now I can not enter the boot menu. I am trying to enter the bios but it keeps restarting and I am stuck in an endless loop. Do I need to install windows again or something because my PC won't turn on.

Something amiss there as in sounds like something could be shorting out.

Do I need to install windows again or something because my PC won't turn on.

Windows obviously does need to be installed at some point but as you are already aware you can`t do so on a computer that will not even let you access the BIOS.

Have you tried removing the SSD and starting the computer without any drive in place, this to see if it points towards the SSD causing the restarts.

Please provide information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better assist you.

My cpu is a AMD-6300
My GPU is a nvidia gtx 960
My HDD was a Toshiba dt01aca100 1Tb
My Ram is a corsair vengeance dere 1600 c10 2x8gb
My motherboard is a msi 7641
My power supply is a corsair cx650m
My cpu cooler is a be quiet dark rock pro 4
My case fans are ezdiy fab 120mm 5 pack
The pc is old and I bought it off my friend for $20.
I had windows 8.1 pro.
Now my SSD is a firecuda 120 ssd 1tb

I got to this point but it still does not work. Im just stuck in this loop where it keeps restarting. I also took out the CMOS battery for 10 minutes and then I get the starting screen where i can then enter the bios or start the system but when i tried to start it but it was just a black screen the whole time.

You missed answering the above.

First thing that I noticed in your video/s is that you do not have any boot media in the computer, if not aware of what this is, it is Windows either on DVD or a USB thumbdrive, the BIOS is looking for this so that it can be booted from and then installed to the SSD.

You need to get yourself Windows on DVD or USB thumbdrive, change the boot sequence in the BIOS so that it boots from where the Windows media is, install Windows to the SSD, install the drivers for the motherboard in the following order, chipset, storage/sata then the GPU.

You can get your Windows media for free from MS here and because Windows 8.1 Pro has been installed on the computer before you should not be asked to enter a product key, MS will already have the motherboard details and product key stored on their database.

In short, there is no OS installed on the SSD so the BIOS has nothing to hand control over to.
