Upgraded size and speed of my RAM and the PC would go into boot cycling. I managed a partial fix by resetting the cmos for the new timings but only one stick in the dual channel was registered. Testing different combinations of slots sent it back into boot cycling and now the original configuration no longer works.

Boot cycling after RAM upgrade.

Does that mean it can never boot? I’m fine with running the ram at a slower speed until I upgrade the system.
Can you put the old ram back in and boot? If yes
