As usual, I don't know if I have the right forum and apologize if this doesn't belong here. I have two questions (I think they're separate questions):

1) Is there something good (and simple) to use to block browser tracking of my searches themselves and also of the websites that I go to from the search results, for Firefox and Opera? I found DuckDuckGo which I learned doesn't track anything and I try to use it. But many times its results are weird and I have to use google to find the links I need. I know google tracks everything.

2) Is there a way to block the websites themselves I go to from tracking me? I use ccleaner daily to delete websites' cookies but I don't know if that is enough - or is all that I can/need to do.

I know I'm asking very basic questions. I'm not sure what triggered this now - I guess I should have been concerned about this a long time ago.

For Firefox see if this helps.
