Yes that could be part of the issue would seriously look into replacing the power supply.

Prior to your issue,was there any other problems (big or small)?
Edit: Were you installing a new card? Also what are the spec's of your graphic card. Spec's on your psu as well.

How long ago on the power supply?
If still under warranty get it replaced that way since it is.
