Hello kind people!

I need some help. I've tried a few things, but I'm not sure what to do. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to computers. Anyway, here's the problem I'm having.

Over quarantine, I got bored and started a YouTube channel with a computer I built about a year ago. It works perfectly, except for when I try to record my screen, record audio, and play a game all at the same time. When I do this, sometimes my main monitor, the one that is plugged into my graphics card via HDMI will go black for a few seconds, and then come back. My other monitor, which is plugged in with an Analog VGA cable into the same graphics card, stays on. Is this a hardware issue? Is my graphics card, cpu, or power supply not powerful enough? Below, I've listed specs and parts for my computer to maybe try and help.

Secondly, and I know this is a really dumb question, but is there a way that I can get better performance from the computer when I am running all of this? I experience some lag from OBS when I play a taxing game, sometimes even when the game is at its lowest quality. Maybe I just need a better graphics card?

Computer components:

CPU:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x 3.7 GHz 8- core processor (Cooled by fan that came with it)

Motherboard:

Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI (Rev. 1.0) ATX AM4 Motherboard

Ram Sticks:

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200, CMK16GX4M2B3200C16

Memory:

Intel 660p series 1.02 TB M.2- 2280 NVME SSD

SATA3 SSD 500GB Dogfish 2D NAND Solid State Drive 2.5

Power Supply:

Corsair VS 550 W 80+ Ceritified ATX power supply

Graphics Card:
Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX580 graphics card

Monitors:
Acer 24.5" KG251Q bmiix 1920 x 1080 1ms Response Time AMD FREESYNC Technology (through HDMI)
HP 2009m monitor (through VGA)

Thank you so much for your help!

It could be down to the resolutions being different on each monitor, this is why it flashes black, it's always best to use monitors using the same res along with same connections (hdmi) etc

In regards to gaming and performance, what games are they and what settings are you using in obs, you could try mirillis action.
