Basically I have two pc's in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. The wifi upstairs is really weak, so I use a wifi extender that I just plug in to the socket and it works fine for my mobile devices. However if I connect it in the room the pc is t says it's 'too far', as I tried to use it by connecting my pc into it by Ethernet.
I've heard that there are little USB dongles you can use, would it be possible for me to connect this dongle to my extender and my extender o my if I or would it not work?
I've also heard about some kind of extender that you connect into the wal socket at both ends and it somehow uses the power lines?
I want to use my upstairs pc for light gaming, internet, uploading and downloading stuff etc. (The usual things, nothing extraordinarily Internet demanding, I usually connect to the 2G connection because it goes further and I really don't want to spend too much on this, as I've seen that the price range varies wildly between about £10 and £150
