Benchmark: Can Temporary Files and Registry Junk Data Slow Down Windows 10?

while his testing seems legit, I'm still not happy with his results.
yes, registry rot and large amounts of junk files can slow down a PC, but his times between a clean state and his 'dirty' state were drastically different.

in my experience, when cleaning up an old, never before maintained PC, the difference is noticeably, but for example, boot times may have only dropped by 5, 10, 15 seconds - that sort of difference.

and my PC's with NVMe's or SSD's, I get at most, 20 seconds to boot to desktop. something he only got once, with my average being between 13-17 seconds. but not's not the point - it is very hard to compare apples with apples.

overall, yes - a well maintained PC is better off than one that is never touched.
I'm just a little sceptical with his figures.
