Automatic highlighting in Microsoft Word (2019)

Hello!

I'm writing a paper at the moment and often leave citation placeholders "(cite)" in my document. I just wanted to know, is there a way to configure Word so that every time I write "(cite)" it highlights that text for me? I can do this manually every time but it's very tedious.

Any help very much appreciated!
