Looks more like an authorization issue then an Authenticated Users issue.

So other can assist let get a speccy report.

You can also download this through another system and use a USB drive to transfer the file to the desktop and run from there following the instructions.

If any error messages come up post those as well.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

I went to deny all access to all authenticated users and got locked out of C drive. Just wanted to see what those checkboxes does lol. The only option I got is to install another copy of windows off a usb using another pc, which I have no access to at the moment. I can’t run speccy, basically can’t run anything that has the windows defender shield on it. It would just freezes up or say location not available. I’m on an msi gf series, mid range gaming laptop. Just wondering if theres any other options you guys have to fix the issue

That is information that should have been included in the original post.

Due to the fact that you enacted authenticated protocols for a drive which are security matters you may have contact Microsoft.

Best thing to do I suggest is use the install media and zero out the drive using Diskpart. Yet not sure that will even work with the drive being securely locked.

May end up having to USB the drive to another system to get the Diskpart to work.

Last client that did something similar to this we ended up replacing the drive none of the professional wiping would touch it.
