After Ryzen Master Curve Optimization - No post, DRAM orange / CPU damaged?

Hi all,

I'm new here and hope to get some advice.

I've built a beautiful gaming PC 6 weeks ago (see photo attached). Please find my specs below.

Despite being a first-time builder, everything worked perfectly fine from the get-go, until yesterday. I ran AMD Ryzen Master, hit Auto-OC and all-core curve optimization. After about 30 minutes, I had to reboot and from there on, my system did no longer post.

My motherboard's DRAM-LED was orange and remained orange. After several hours of doing clear CMOS and BIOS flash of different versions, un- and reinstalling different types of RAM sticks in single and dual-channel, I managed to get my system back, somewhat.

The problem is, I no longer can run dual-channel RAM and my faster Team Group T-Force Delta RAMs aren't working at all. What's working is one single stick of Kingston Fury. Obviously, I've put the RAM where it's supposed to go on my motherboard, slots A2 and B2. No Expo enabled.

I wanted to get to the bottom of it and took the whole PC apart. After unmounting the CPU, I noticed some potential damage at the motherboard socket, it appears 3 pins are not looking the way they're supposed to (see photo attached). I do not know if that's actually damaged. If it is, I have literally no idea how or when this happened. I've removed the CPU a couple of times before to install an AIO and to re-apply thermal paste, carefully.

I am quite frustrated now and would very much appreciate your opinion, advice or help:
  • could my mainboard be busted?
  • if not, how could I get back to where I was, with my preferred RAM working dual-channel?
  • why did this even happen? what has Ryzen Master done to my system? have I done something wrong?
I hope I have provided all relevant information. Thank you very much in advance. Here are my specs:
  • BIOS version: American Megatrends Inc. 1601, 28.04.2023
  • Case: be quiet pure base 500dx
