Solved AdobeIPCBroker.exe - System Error

Status
Not open for further replies.
So i recently formatted my PC and downloaded epic games and GTA V. When it finished downloading i tried launching it to it asked me to install the Rockstar Games launcher and so i did. Halfway through the installation it crashed and the "AdobeIPCBroker.exe - System Error" message popped telling me: "the code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". i downloaded the missing file, copy pasted it into the system32 file and tried to open GTA V again but the same messaged appeared this time telling me i am missing "vcruntime140.dll". i fixed it the same way i fixed the other one and again tried to open GTA V and this time the message appeared again telling me "The Application Was Unable to Start Correctly 0xc000007b Error". i restarted my PC and now the first message appeared again telling me "the code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" even though i don't have GTA V open nor Epic Games nor Rockstar.
everytime i click ok or close itn it instanstly opens again so i baiscally can't get it to go away. i hope u can help me

Just to make sure that I am understanding you correctly, you are asking for help to get rid of the MSVCP140.dll was not found. error.

That's exactly what i am trying to do yes. Cuz even though i copy pasted the new installed file and updated everything it still doesn't go away, I can't close it even when all my other apps are closed

You mention that you recently formatted the drive so two questions;

from where did you get the media that you used to install Windows, MSVCP140.dll is an important Windows component and the fact that is having issues suggests Windows corruption.

After clean installing Windows did check for and install all Windows updates.

After clean installing Windows did you install the drivers for the MB and starting with the chipset drivers first.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as I have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed,, thanks.

Ok to answer the first question: i downloaded the media from the official microsoft website, installed it on a flash drive and then used it to format the pc
I also downloaded and installed every single update i found in Windows>settings>updates and security so that's also taken care of.
I didn't under the part about installing the drivers for the MB but i updated my graphics cards drivers.
May i also add that my windows isn't activated

After Windows has been installed you must install the drivers for the motherboard and starting with the chipset drivers first, the reason why the chipset drivers need installing first is because it is what allows all the hardware to be able to communicate with each other, imagine it as the driver command hub.

You need to get Windows activated to be able to fix this and for two reasons, forum rules prohibit us from helping with unlicenced software and at some point Windows will block you from updates which may actually be what has happened here as your error should have been fixed by a Windows update.

Troubleshooting computer problems is a waste of time when it is known that Windows is out of date as any one of a number of the missing hot fixes could be the solution to any problem that you may be having.

We need to start by getting the correct drivers and updates for you so we need some hardware specs and to see what your update status is.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

update: i reformatted my pc using the windows reset option and bought a licence key to activate my windows. i also updated all my drivers and chose not to install GTA V nor Epic Games launcher.
everything works fine for now
may i ask you to conclude the thread please, and thanks for your help
