Is there anyone else out there that are driven mad by Adobe Flash Player updates?
How important am I really? Maybe I am the only person in the computer world that gets these constant, infuriating messages.
After I click on download, it is not like Adobe is any better or any different. Nothing changes. The messages just keep on periodically coming.
Should I be harbouring thoughts of some sinister reason that Adobe want me to click on these messages?

Flash updates usually appear the 2nd Tuesday of the month aka Patch Tuesday.
Windows 8.1 and 10 get the updates from MS for IE and not through Adobe.

Yes, those updates are important. In the past, before ransomware, 90% of malware came through Java and flash. Most removed Java unless it was needed for a program so flash moved to the head of the class.

If you don't want to update, at the very least turn off flash in ALL your browsers (IE calls it activex). Note: the functionality of some websites will be broken but you'll be safer.

I check here https://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2018/02/adobe-flash-player-critical-security.html
on Patch Tuesday and use her download links (Win 7 computers) to get flash without all the junk tagging along.
