Attempting to install new printer-Brother HL-L2360DW. Running Windows 8.1. I used the Brother CD to load printer drives. Message comes up that I must be logged in as Administrator but there is no screen that comes up to log in. I tried to disable but that doesn't work. I tried the manual approach suggested by Brother and I now have an icon on my desk top called install. I clicked on setup.exe it started the down load process and again message came up that I must be part of the Administrator group.
The printer does appear in the device folder. I tried to print without the drivers. Selected add printer and the following message appeared "Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable". Any help will be appreciated.

Hello

Hopefully some of our members will chime in soon.

While you are waiting, double check your Windows personal profile on your pc and make sure you are the administrator.
You are correct, this was the problem. Evidently I have two profiles on my system, one uses my full name, while the other abbreviates it. I was able to add the other profile as administrator and it worked.
Thanks for your help.
