Hi all,

I've turned my PC on today and randomly my second monitor has stopped working. I've tried updating the Adaptors and even uninstalling/reinstalling them. I've tested a different HDMI cable and still the same thing happens. It's weird because when I turn the monitor on, a noise, like something has connected sounds, and then the disconnect noise goes off. I can see it was briefly connected within the display settings as the menu mentions "display 2". It's also in Display Monitors as Generic Non-pnp Monitor in the device manager.

I'm a bit confused as to what else I can do. I've had this Monitor since 2015, so I suspect it may have just died on me but I haven't had any flickering or stuttering building up to this day, so I also wonder if there's just a device driver issue? I've tried installing the latest ICC profile but don't know what I'm doing.

Would any be able to help?

Hi There,

For some reason, I managed to fix it by plugging the HDMI that I was using into my main monitor and then plugging it back into my other monitor.

Apologies for wasting your time, really appreciate you getting back to me though!
