Yeah I know how to get into it. I had to change it to ATA to even install xpCorrect
Do you know how to set the Bios ? Normally press F2 then set to defaults should be an option. Then F10 to save and exit

Just so you know. This shows you have Network set as the 1st boot device.media not connected, check cable.
My first boot device is set at disc drive, because of when I installed XP. I just haven't changed it yet. But I will.Just so you know. This shows you have Network set as the 1st boot device.
I don't think I have done this. So I will try it too. Also when you set the BIOS you set it as
- Depending on your board, do one of the following: Go to the Configuration > SATA Drives menu, set Configure SATA to IDE. Go to the Advanced > Drive Configuration menu, set ATA/IDE Mode to Native.
I didn't have any options like this under configuration. Also when you set the BIOS you set it as

Instead of him looking at it Can he download the files to a usb and loan it to you. I know a guy who runs a PC shop, he said he will look at it for if I can't get it to work
Between graduate school and work I just didn't have the time to keep working on it. I took it to the PC shop and he was able to get it going. It is working now. I appreciate all your time and help. I made a small donation (not near worth what you put into my issue) as a token of gratitude.Instead of him looking at it Can he download the files to a usb and loan it to you
I am sure they will be happy.I made a small donation
Thought you were part of the site so the donation would help. Sorry if I misunderstood. But nah all he said was he had to find very specific drivers and he was able to find them. Not sure where because I tried anything and everything.I don't suppose he said what it was ?
I am thinking corrupt download Would be nice to know in-case some one else needs help, but if he did not say
I am sure they will be happy.
I am sorry I could not get you going,
Cheers

You did the right thing with your donation - It helps the site to keep running - The helpers do it for free. So your Donation is very much appreciated.Thought you were part of the site so the donation would help.
That's why I am convinced it was a download/burn to disc issue.find very specific drivers and he was able to find them. Not sure where because I tried anything and everything.
