Hi,
So it looks like Samsung released a new SSD! The Samsung 750 EVO. According to CNET, the 750 uses a different type of memory or something like that, but if you're talking to someone who has never touched a computer before, how would you explain the difference in between the 750 EVO and 850 EVO?

I am not given to customer testimonials. I am also very tight with a nickel when it comes to spending on hardware.
I use the 850 Evo on my main PC. I bought it solely because it was on Black Friday sale and the price per GB was the lowest of all my options at the time.
I use other low cost SSDs on my other machines. Kingston V300 and that type. Low cost, nothing special. They are all substantially faster than HDD technology.

That being said - The 850 Evo is a beast. It has altered my willingness to choose a high-end SSD on my next build. The increased performance is more than simply noticeable. I do not know when MCEbuddy is converting Media Center DVR recordings - a process that previously bogged my machine down like molasses in winter. The drive allows my machine to run as smoothly when crunching video as it does when I am just reading email.
