3700x Not working on MY computer.

Hi, im new to the forum and im searching for help because my computer refuses to boot properly since i upgraded to a 3700x a month ago. Before this i was using a 2200g and it was working perfectly fine, i never had BSOD or any problem of some kind, but paired with my 1660ti it causes a lot of bottleneck and the experiencie its not great at all, so i decided to upgrade to a 3700x, i bought new from a well know shop where i live and installed it, the problem is that it cant run anything but the BIOS, when i try to boot windows 10 or the usb tool it crashes giving me an almost random error message, even after hours of searching message errors and information all across the Internet i wasnt able to fix the problem, i used the warranty and the shop tested it in 2 motherboards (one the exact same model as mine) and it worked perfectly, even with stress benchmarks. Worst part its that while they were testing the 3700x i installed the 2200g again to use my computer and it worked as always, today the same 3700x arrived at my house and i have the same problems, i ran memtest86 and it gave me no problems, but the moment i enter windows it doesnt last more than 2 seconds at best to give me a BSOD, sometimes it even takes several seconds to enter the BIOS or just give me a orange screen with white lines instead. I think its the mobo but i also thought it was a cpu issue and now i need to pay 50 dollars for warranty shipping, plus last thing i can do now its to buy a new mobo since i already upgraded it 6 months ago (from a cheap b450 to a better Aourus pro wifi b450) Im really desesperate and in case somebody is wondering i have a good PSU and 3 drives, 2 with a StoreMI setup.

Hello dispat,

Couple of question for you;

Do you have the 2200g in the MB at the moment, if not, are you ok with putting it back in so we can do some checks.

What is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

The psu its a Focus Gold 650 and i dont have problems with putting the 2200g back on if necessary, also i have to say that after reseting the BIOS was able to be in the desktop for some seconds and it runs lower on voltages in the BIOS, also i got to the Windows repair thing a couple of times and it seems to work just fine (after reseting the BIOS) But i cant use the Windows USB ISO tool yet

Good quality PSU so that is effectively ruled out.

If you have the correct cleaning materials and thermal compound to be able to put the 2200g back in please do then do the following for us if you will;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Entirely up to you but why risk putting the 3700x in another MB first, you are less likely to damage the CPU by keeping it somewhere safe while you carry out the suggested steps.

Now the 3700x is in the old mobo and it give me the same problems as always, just it took several seconds to make the first boot and now it haves a higher voltage
