Solved 1 ram being used and not both

Hey guys,

So I was playing mw2 remastered for fun and i turned on fps monitor to look at what fps i was getting, while i was playing i noticed that it says 8GB RAM and I didn't think much of it, I finished a mission and exited out of the game, went to task manager and saw that i have 8GB of ram, 1 slot out of 4 which is weird because my motherboard is a single channel motherboard with 2x8GB RAM, Can you guys tell me how I can enable both of my RAM sticks ? Would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Motherboard: MSI B560M-A PRO
RAM: Kingston Fury 2x8GB 2400Mhz

You might try and reseat the ram modules. Make sure you unplug the machine first!

Thank you alot for this, i pushed the ram in a bit more, the motherboard detected a new ram stick and told me straight away and now it says 16GB

It is weird because i reseated it a few times and still the same. I guess the motherboard didn't quite recognize it the first time.

this can be closed/solved
