Take Ownership for Windows 7 1.0

Do the follow to take ownership of any file, folder, or drive you wish:
  • Download the ZIP file and open it
  • You'll see 2 files: InstallTakeOwnership.reg and RemoveTakeOwnership.reg
  • Double-click InstallTakeOwnership.reg
  • Click Run on the box that appears
  • Click Yes on the User Account Control (UAC) box that appears
  • Click Yes on the Registry Editor box that appears
  • Click OK in the final box and you are done :)
  • You'll now have a Take Ownership function in your right click menu.
