Do the follow to take ownership of any file, folder, or drive you wish:
- Download the ZIP file and open it
- You'll see 2 files: InstallTakeOwnership.reg and RemoveTakeOwnership.reg
- Double-click InstallTakeOwnership.reg
- Click Run on the box that appears
- Click Yes on the User Account Control (UAC) box that appears
- Click Yes on the Registry Editor box that appears
- Click OK in the final box and you are done
- You'll now have a Take Ownership function in your right click menu.
