Solved Issue with HHD/Running W7

So I just got a new 3TB harddrive, I've activated/formatted it but it has two partitions listed, one @2048GB - active and one @746.52 GB - inactive
I've tried to extend the active volume with the unused space but it doesn't allow me to do so and I cant seem to do anything at all with the anallocated space. I've tried looking it up but I'm kind of at a loss and to be honest, quite frustrate. Does anyone have any advice on this or have a fix? It would be most appreciated.

I have a 1TB drive for boot, 2 500GB for storage and I bought this 3TB to take the place of the 2 500's, I'm wondering if my motherboard doesn't support this much memory space but that doesn't make much sense to me, could that be the issue?

Sorry for the size of the pics, I was unaware it screenshot me second monitor. Disk0 on the top is the one I'm having issues with, I also added in my options when I right click.

Having nearly a whole 1TB I cannot use isn't making me a very happy camper to say the least :p Thanks for any help offered, even if it doesn't solve my issue.

Yeah sorry, life got kinda busy.

I found a video that helped me get through the disk management to get it all activated and a separate video for merging the unused space, I had to change the format of the new drive to G(something) I know it was a series of three letters starting with G. I have all the space opened up and everything is running fine now.
