I just graduated high school and I am about to start college where I will be studying to be an engineer. I was looking to buy an new pc that would be able to handle the programs I would need (CADD, Revit, Inventor) and something I could also game on. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated

all I can add is you will need to forget about a budget.
you know what you want to run, you know all the software you mentioned run better with more resources so don't buy to a budget and then find your software runs badly - you'll never be happy.

I got a laptop for a client about 18months ago with your sort of demands; AutoCAD, Revit and games. and he wanted a SSD. Ended up with a Dell Alienware laptop, cost about $AUD3,500 - so prepare yourself. :)

(PS: I'm sure you know, but Revit is an absolute beast on memory and graphics, so go high or go home!)
