Hello all

Thought I would throw this out see if I can catch any answers.
Dell 6420 i7 12 gig ram 250gig sdd

Win 7 64bit
Running Vmware 12.5.7 sof ware
Machine is working great if I open my Vmware image and start up the software I ru on it I get maybe 5 min use and then the Vmware freezes....
If I sit and wait for maybe 10 minutes it will all start working again perfect. Now while it's frozen if I move the mouse to initiate a command like to close a page when the machine in freezes that command will already have taken place!!
Now for 12 months I used this machine with Vmware 10 and this certain software and it was perfect. This all stated happening 4 weeks ago. I did virus scans nothing was showing. I decided to bulldoze the whole machine host too the lot not just the Vmware image. Rebuilt. Exactly the same. I upgrades to Vmware 12.5.7 thinking maybe a bug fix. Nope same

I cannot see what has changed to make the Vmware image behave like this

Does anybody have any information to share? Thank you

Unfortunately no
Tried as you suggested. Same issues
I have purchase a hdd drive to clone the drive I will put that in and see if it remains problematic

The drive in now is a ssd I think they just fail rather than cause problem?
