If anyone could give me any advice or guidance I would truly appreciate it. At the end of last year I saved up and built myself a new PC replacing my old AM3 build only reusing my PSU and GPU, I build an all new AM5 build. I have had stability issues with changing anything in the bios beyond optimized default and enable DOCP. Enabling PBO in any way will cause BSOD or non-boot, attempting to use the curve optimizer to under-volt causes a boot loop (single or all core) even at lower numbers like -20, -18 etc. I feel like I’m driving a sports car in valet mode. The PC is stable at default but I feel like something is off. My temps are cool at most 70(during heavy extended use) CPU wattage stays around 70-90w max. Cinebench R23 multi core score averages over several tests 21938. RAM is configured in slots 2&4 currently my guess is the ram but even with the ram not running at 6000Mhz the CPU usage is the same. Unless I can figure something out I’m thinking I should replace the ram with a kit that has a profile in the BIOS (my current ram is listed in the compatible list from ASUS website)
What I’ve done troubleshooting-

GPU- ASUS Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080OC
PSU- Corsair HXi Series, HX1200i, 1200 Watt, 80+ Platinum Certified, Fully Modular - Digital Power Supply
AIO cooler- DeepCool LT720 360mm AIO 4th Gen Dual-Chamber Pump 3100RPM Multidimensional Infinity Mirror ARGB 300w
Main M.2(OS drive)- SAMSUNG 990 PRO Series - 2TB PCIe Gen4. X4 NVMe 2.0c - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V9P2T0B/AM)
Case- ASUS TUF GT502 with 5 case fans plus 3 radiator fans in a mostly positive pressure configuration with the AIO at the top as exhaust.
What I’ve done troubleshooting-
- I’ve fresh installed windows a total of 3 times win11, win10, win10. (64bit)
- I’ve followed several YouTube Bios settings guides (all fail)
- I’ve updated / cleared the BIOS many times (it’s Changed a few times sense initial setup currently on the most current 1905)
- I’ve checked every connector several times.
- The GPU is stable and operating correctly
- Always updated the AMD chipset drivers from ASUS
- Game bar is updated and working
- Windows is fully updated
- Minimal software installed
- I’ve double checked the CPU is seated and new thermal paste
- I’ve set the manual max temp to 88 to check thermal throttle but it never gets close to that temp.
