Solved Same old song and dance...

Looks like I'll need to take it to a shop to get it fixed. Thank you for the advice and help. Other than that, I can give you an update once I get it fixed, but other than that, guess I'm good. Thanks again all.

Solved Anti-malware the same as anti-virus?

Nope, all good. Need to take my system to a shop to get it fixed and looked over, then will do a clean install of an anti-virus and any scanner that'll keep my system clean. Thanks for the help and advice.

Okay thanks. I posted the information about my system when I started this thread. Is it possible to give a recommendation of a proper PSU, or should I take it to a local shop?

Okay, thanks. Would it be cheaper to replace the computer or the PSU? I don't know much about fixing hardware.

Solved Anti-malware the same as anti-virus?

Is anti-malware the same as anti-virus? If so, which program is recommended for my machine? If not, I'm interested in recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Ah, okay. Computer seems to stay cool, but I'm not quite sure how to measure that, but I'm willing to learn.

What are temps and where would I find that info? I download from the developer/publisher websites to try to get as clean a download as I can. However, the problem DOES seem to come from Steam more than the downloaded games.

Hello again, Having a repeat issue of computer wanting to shut down unexpectedly while playing games, downloaded and on Steam. Any idea why this is a recurring issue and is there a way to fix it permanently so we can get back to gaming without interruption? Thanks all.
