    Download speeds stuck at 8mbps (1.mb actual speed) despite changing ISP. Hardware problem?

    Hi, so basically, my internet is stuck at 8mbps, it was like this with Sky and now with virgin media, despite virgin media having triple the speeds of Sky. It's only like this on my PC, and i've seen other threads about people with similar problems. Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this...
