    Evan, Thanks for that, Did what you suggested i.e. removed the contents of Download folder only. Thanks to all for responses. How long does it usually take for a new Windows version to get sorted?

    I have rolled back to 1909 for now. Will install 2004 when it is known to be more stable. Can I safely delete “download” folder in Software Distribution which is in Windows folder? It is taking up about 9gb of space since I rolled back to1909.

    Ad, Thanks for info. Was "Be Quiet" a recommend or just an example? Shut downs/Restarts obviously still occurring - seems to be about 20 seconds after turning on PC - after that all seems OK.

    Ad, If I went for a 600w PSU would this be OK? If so, can you suggest some good ones? If I bought on line, how can I be sure it would fit in the same place as existing. Surely they must come in different sizes?

    Ad, Just to be clear - IE was 11.5mb, whilst most of the others listed were more ?? So, as far as you can tell, there is no problem with the RAM?? Please see attached log as requested.

    Ad, You mentioned that the big hitter is IE - please explain?? I have attached a screenshot of CPU - Z from the memory tab - indicating the dual channel. Also attached is a copy of the complete report (not sure if you wanted this ?)

    phillpower2, By the way when I mentioned a couple of posts ago, "The vast majority of the rest are probably 6 - 7mb it should be 1 - 5mb (probably not important)

    phillpower2, Apologies - I don't know where to look in BIOS to see whether RAM is in dual channel - guidance please!! I have seen on line a piece of software called CPU-Z which will let me know whether RAM is in dual channel - do I need this?
