    Ok i am no pc expert so please bare with me..I have an old DELL (3years) base unit. For a few weeks now on starting up the pc the fan (one close to heatsink/CPU) speeds up like its trying to take off..I have to shut the pc down via power on/off (only way) if the pc is started again the fan...
