    Well a new back cover was ordered( so the hinges can actually be screwed in at all places) and the hinges where straighted out and loosened because they where extremely tight. The cover should hopefully arrive this week or the next and then the laptop can actually be put back together properly...

    The graphics card is built in so i can't switch it out. Its definitely, not the ram, as it would just shut off if the ram was defective.

    Not a good one. Replacing the lcd screen did nothing. Nor did the new touch cable. :notworthy::(

    I found it on amazon, so I think i can return it without a restocking fee if it doesn't work. That is if mine is a 40 pin.

    Thats alright, I wouldn't even bother ordering the screen until its closer to the date my hinges arrive. Which won't be until August 1-15.

    Oh don't worry all the stuff on my laptop is just a copy of the stuff on my desktop, which is also on an external hard drive. I got backups for days. :LOL: I'll play around with it some more tomorrow. I'm not home now.

    I thought it was the hinge and the wire origonally, but when i took the hinges out and used a new wire nothing happened.
