    Ok so just to be sure a faulty motherboard could cause high CPU temps? Because I assembled the PC, motherboard, gpu, CPU and all the stuff without earthing myself, I even let the PC plugged In one time without earthing myself. Could that have caused damage to my PC and maybe that's the reason...

    But could a faulty motherboard cause heat problems? Because then I would change my z490 gaming plus with a z490 tomahawk to see if it's still there. Would I have to reinstall windows 10 for that?

    Run a benchmark test 84 was the highest peak. I changed the CPU cooler tough. Could the heat come from a faulty motherboard?

    Yeah still get high temps in idle 40-55 and in cyberpunk 60-75

    I just added 2 additonal system fans, one on the top of the case above the cpu cooler and one more at the front of the case. Temps are still 30-55 in idle (always fluctuating) dont know why. When downloading a game and while writing this its even 55-60. And my CPU fan runs at 875 RPM most of the...
