    i have 2 splitters wired as post 40 they work with my 2 main computers with a linksys ps2 KVM the motherboards both have a ps2 enable option a third computer has no ps2 enable ps2 works fine until it boots into windows the mouse will work infinitum until any key on the keyboard is pressed...

    observation : i have experienced on 2 different computers that ps2 kbd/ms work fine until they get into the windows environment esp installing an o/s . . the mouse will work infinitum until any key on the kbd is pressed . . then they both freeze help please!

    is the cpu clear of dust . . . you cleaned everything else . . check the cpu heatsink fins are not full of might be overheating in which case it will shut down . . . easiest way . .get an airline and blow it out . .if you've still got problems at least you can rule out overheating

    aten petite 2 port ( usb ) my ps2 is a linksys 2 port the linksys was much better for me and had hot key swopping ( no buttons ) worked every time
