Solved Alienware Aurora R10 can't restart

3200MHz is the correct speed for your CPU, Crucial should cross check with your MOBO but running a Speccy or sharing a part number would allow us to know for sure.

Solved Alienware Aurora R10 can't restart

Which Ryzen 7? This determines what RAM is worth putting in your PC. Crucial marks your particular PC as good up to 128GB of RAM, but I must once again stress the importance of the proper speed.

I7-14700k idle temp at 50-60 °C gaming temp default 80+°C max 95.0°C tested on Fortnite AIO Problem?

Is this the cooler you have? A few things I noticed: 1. You have AVG Antivirus installed, one of our senior member has a whole list on reasons why this is bad, but the short of it is that Windows Defender is adequate for 90% of people + it doesn't gunk up your Windows load. 2. You have the...

    Solved New Pc Build suggestions

Intel or AM4 are solid choices for new rigs, I don't think your budget will grab much from AM5 currently- but regardless you should be aware of the extended boot times they tend to have. Something with re-training memory last I checked. As Bruce and Peter said- A good PSU and proper RAM are a...

Solved Replace PC motherboard / CPU but use old Windows license?

If the board is dead then it's worth trying anyway isn't it? I've had luck sometimes and no luck others, Microsoft has 2 big licenses available to consumers - OEM, and Retail. OEM are single use and should 'theoretically' deactivate with something like the motherboard changing (every...

I need a larger PC case.

I see, then maybe the 5000D is up your alley if you like the 4000D.

I need a larger PC case.

That's what I was hoping you would say. :) I'm a huge fan of Fractal cases, something like the Meshify 2 meets all of your space criteria. The Corsair 4000D also looks suitable, but the size constraints on it are going to be a bit tighter for your GPU/PSU. Finally the Cooler Master TD500-...

Is an external blu-ray writer an option? Typically with high performing gaming rigs I recommend as much mesh for airflow as I can. If a writer can be external/USB then that gives you a lot more options.

how to fix a possibly destroyed BIOS

Another option- and flaw on my part- does the board have a button on the back that says BIOS Flashback or something similar? Some manufacturers have actually built in ways to attempt to re-flash corrupt BIOS, but I'm still not certain how widespread this is- especially in the OEM market.

how to fix a possibly destroyed BIOS

What leads you to believe it is destroyed? ***Generally when a BIOS flash goes wrong the chip on the motherboard that stores that information has to be desoldered/resoldered with a fresh one, this is of course barring boards that have Dual-Boot BIOS options. This is doubly true for OEM...

    4070 Super No Power

We need more details than 850W Power supply. What is the brand, the model, and the power efficiency rating? Are there any adapters? Or is it a 12VHPWR straight out of the PSU? You recently got the GPU, but did the PC have another GPU before it? What does "No power" mean, does the PC not turn...

In Progress Frame drops/stutter loading in most games

A few things of note: Windows was not installed in the correct order, the first update appears to be an antivirus update- when doing a fresh load of Windows gaming computers should have drivers loaded as follows: Chipset, Storage, Graphics, All others, Windows Updates. Did you load W10 or W11...

Solved PC shut down when starting a game

Do you have a different GPU to swap in? It's possible that the underwhelming PSU you had in before caused some issues/damage, did anything else happen prior to these instabilities? Let's get some more information: Download and run the free version of speccy. Once you have ran speccy...

    New Consair Fans

A hub usually runs off one of two methods: A PWM hub has 1 fan connected that acts as the signal fan and is used to gather information by the motherboard, this information is used to flood power signals out all ports on the fan hub. (This usually connects to a motherboard fan header, and at...

Blinking (mains) power light on laptop

Please look around the laptop and grab a model number for us, depending on the particular make it could simply be an indicator light. You say has started, what did it do before this change, and when did you notice it?
