    Solved having issues setting up second monitor

    Thanks guys for the responses! I plugged in the old monitor to see if Windows key + P would work (I've only tried the right click>screen resolution option), and somehow both monitors are working as I wanted it to before I even did anything. Not sure what happened, as I've only plugged in the...

    hey there! I just got a new monitor and I've decided to keep my older one as a second display. But I can't get it to work. So here's the thing. When I have the two monitors plugged in together, only the new monitor is displaying the desktop. But the windows seem to be opening on the old monitor...
