    I was originally not, but when I tested using the new power cable I did use the wall socket, but sadly it didn't make much of a difference. For the HDMI, it goes directly from the computer to the TV.

    Hey, haven't gotten around to test all of this yet, but i tried turning off the XMP and the fast boot. However, I couldn't tell really any difference.

    No riser cables. Gsync off seemed to help the stutters which always happened. But there were still the random stutters, and gameplay was also more choppy I felt. This was a bit hard to test though since I can't get MSI afterburner display to appear on FIFA.

    I tried turning off gsync just now, and it seemed to have some positive effect, at least for fifa, didn't fix it by any means, but it helped. However, In other games like final fantasy and Snowrunner I still experienced the same stutters.

    Hey, I've still not gotten any closer to figuring this out. I am going to be ordering a similar spec pc to hopefully figure out what part (or potentially me) is causing the problem. The only thing holding me back is the exams, but I've scheduled to be working on this with a friend from december...

    Well, I tested the ram to see if it was the issue, I tried with one ram at a time in an unused slot, but it didn't make the performance any better or worse. I think I've settled on trying to get a similar pc to test, in case it some thing i'm doing / or my peripherals. Then if not, I'll swap...

    late 2020 i built the pc. It is running windows 11, have been running windows 10 as well. problems on both. Only thing is the cables are from my old pc from 2015, the rest is from 2020.
