    Thanks for all your help, I gave up with win7 and managed to download a win10 iso with rufus and USB boot that way. Strange that it wouldn't accept my win7 boot though!

    Hi, sorry about that, haha. But I can't get into windows! It shows 'loading windows' and without the bar even moving like it used to, it quickly shows BSOD.
