Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

Hello! I was going to wait until tomorrow just to be absolutely sure everything was ok. I did swap out my RAM and motherboard and have not had a single freeze since. At this point I am fine with marking it as resolved and if the issue crops up again I will reach out (after crying for hours on...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

@jmarket Hey! I want to put this on hold for the weekend until at least Tuesday. I spoke with Amazon and walked them through all of the troubleshooting from both here and others trying to help. With that said I just ordered a brand new motherboard and RAM that should be here on monday or...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

So the freeze happened right when I launched prime stress testing but it could have been coincidence. It didn't happen again for the duration of the scan after that.

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

I did previusly run the windows memory diagnostics in addition to memtest86 and neither reported a problem. I am currently scanning my hard drives on the long generic scan as the other scans passed. I will report back with results on those scans and I will do another windows memory diagnostic...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

Yes I did it 3 total times. Once prior to posting, once after first wipe and then again after this most recent wipe. Someone suggested to me that it could be my power supply causing the problem so I just finished installing a new one. Going to try and play games and watch movies etc to see if I...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

I have had 2 more freezes, there is still no minidump being created (not sure if this is good or bad at this point). Here is the sysnative collection in case there is any new information.

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

I did another wipe on my PC and this time cleaned the entire hard drive that windows is installed on. Already had a freeze for a few seconds. Regarding minidumps that stuff was setup previously but for some reason nothing is logging. I am attaching my windows event logs since the wipe I just...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

So I had another freeze and this time it just went right into a PC reboot. I don't even know what to do at this point, I am so frustrated and I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere online yet. Spending hours each day reinstalling stuff and running programs..

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

Ha I actually just did this about 20 minutes ago. I only installed the drivers and opted to not install geforce experience/shadowplay stuff to see if that has any impact. I will report back with results!

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

I updated my main post to better format it and include all solutions attempted so far. There is a new pastebin link with some new errors from this morning that seem to be nvidia related?

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

Update: I also ran the memtest86 overnight and it returned no errors. I see this popped up in my security and maintenance/problem details: Description A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly. Problem signature Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Code: 117...

Solved PC freezing for a few seconds multiple times per day - no BSOD

Update: I have a new GPU in my PC and experienced the freeze again. Could it possibly be RAM? I ran the windows diagnostic test but it said all was ok. Not really sure where to look from here.

I ran the test on multiple resolutions and even fullscreen. Didn't run into a problem and my temps maxed at 63C each time.
