    I bought a laptop stand , and started using it with proper ventilation, I have only encountered the FPS drop like twice now. Is it because the the laptop is throttling ?

    The internet is fine, this problem is happening in both online and offline games. Yes i have kept the game graphics to the lowest settings and it still happens. V-sync is off too.

    I have a dell g5 with core i5, nvidia GTX 1060. Whenever I play games , the FPS suddenly drops from 120 to 20 for like 4 seconds and comes back to normal. This keeps happening at intervals. It’s really annoying , please help.
