    I contacted MSI and they said even though online the recommended is 500w, 450w should be perfectly fine for a 1070 or 1080. My friend has the exact same pc build as me but his system hasn't had any issues and it's been 10 months since we built them..

    I've done the clean boot following the instructions and it's still performing the exact same.
