    Is my SSD recoverable?

Indeed it does....how I went this long without any problems is beyond me. It is 2020, though.

    Is my SSD recoverable?

That didn't come up with anything. I talked to a local IT/computer "expert" that would be willing to look in to this for a small fee. I think I have decided to count my losses and consider this a hard lesson learned. I didn't lose the most crucial files like I initially thought, so I'm...

    Is my SSD recoverable?

Windows did everything. I just followed the prompts from the Windows Download Tool and let it do its thing. After it was done, my external is now in its current state. I have no clue why it says 28 of 32 GB. It is a 1 TB drive. The good news is I DID have the most crucial/priceless files...

    Is my SSD recoverable?

Today I made a horrible mistake. I was looking to do a clean install on my laptop. I used my external SSD HD to download the Windows Download Tool. Unfortunately I didn't research this thorough enough and I believe I formatted my external. Now the only thing that pops up is the install files...

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

I don't think so. I will probably just roll with what I got and experiment.

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

I'm still messing with settings and combination of settings. I haven't found a legit solution as of yet, but I can say I have had improved quality and performance has greatly improved. I'm going to keep experimenting. Overall, the game is playable now (so far).

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

Are you talking about the general NVIDIA setting or the 3D settings specific to GTA V?

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

That has helped some of the graphics quite a bit. I'm still getting that weird distance issue, though. I'm not sure how to describe it. Things like walls and rocks and trees...from a distance (especially when driving fast) look like mesh. You see an outline of it and the where all the color...

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

I have tried increasing the settings, but haven't seen much of a difference in the distance issue. Most, not all, of the graphics don't render till being close to me. That being said, I'm still experimenting and trying to find the right settings. A lot of these settings I don't even...

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

Sorry for the delay. I tried to play in clean boot mode, and it wouldn't even let me access the game. Rockstar could not connect. So, I reset and booted in regular mode and shut off all startup items except my audio driver. I also updated my gpu drivers. Now the game is running much...

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

Ok...my version of Windows is 10.0.18363. My PSU is buried in such a way that I will have to dismantle some stuff to find the brand name. If you still need this info, I can do that.

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

Windows is up to date. I’m not sure if the brand of my psu, but I do know it’s 750 watts. I can check on that and the updates this evening when I get home.

    Solved Strange GTA V problem...

The game is up to date to the best of my knowledge. It runs through Steam, and it keeps games updated. I am running Windows 10 Pro.
