    Long story short, my mouse seems to be malfunctioning every so often meaning when I drag and drop an item, it sometimes goes crazy and will do random stuff like highlight an entire list of documents and just throws them into random folders without me actually moving the mouse over said folder...

    unplugging everything didn't work but finally virgin have sent me a replacement router and everything is working. christ knows why but it seems to be that the old router was blocking ethernet connections. wish I'd known that sooner before having to take 4 days off work. cheers for your help in...

    I've been able to delete the WiFi connection off my xbox so have been able to test if it works solely by ethernet and it recognises that there's a wired connection but states Wired ipv4 Nat type unavailable Service info unavailable

    Hub 3. Light is on the back of the router. If I move the ethernet cable to a different port then the light will work on whichever port its connected into I'll have to check if there's a light on the back of the pc and get back to you

    Xbox is connected by WiFi. I did try to test the ethernet connection to the Xbox last night, to see if it connects, but the problem is that by default the Xbox will just use WiFi if it doesn't establish a wired connection.     might be pointless answering that question any was as tethering/WiFi bridging using my phone is now no longer working either. tried 3 different phones and the PC just refuses to recognise any of them in order for me to connect to their networks. I'm fking sick of this!!!!
