    I am replacing a 500GB SSD with a brand new 1TB. My Windows 10 had a bug and restarted unexpectedly. I did not want to copy it for this reason.

    I bought the Windows DVD from a software company but I also have my own DVD as mentioned. I built this PC and I still have the older SSD with Windows on it. It kept restarting my Windows unexpectedly. I decided to reinstall Windows but wanted a bigger SSD and so bought a new SSD from Amazon.
