    Hello all problem solved. I gave the insides a good clean. Took out the cables and reinserted them and bows it’s ok.

    Well I have shown hidden on the instructions above and will attach the image. I have also reset the bios to factory. I shall check tomorrow and see about checking internally

    Hello, My apologies. It is a desktop PC, I have tried to go into device manager and will attach the screen shot of what I see and a photo of bios, I don't think it is seeing it in bios? It will not even show the cd/dvd drivce in my computer, it ejects/opens ok, but no reading is taking place...

    Hello, I have today had a problem whereby my computer is not recognising the cd player/dvd burner. I have gone through a few steps and this message came up. No device was detected
